Image choice
As part of the assignment, we had to include an image on our blog. I chose a painting by Frida Kahlo (I have a minor obsession with her) titled Viva la vida (Long live life) to go along with the food unit that Spanish III is studying.
Assignment
This post is an assignment for a graduate level education class that I am taking in the Spring of 2014. One of the topics is using blogs in the classroom.
Currently, my Spanish III students are working on a food unit. Today in class, we looked at the U. S. government's "Mi plato" program. Tomorrow, we are going to look at the Mexican government's recommendations for healthy eating, the "El plato del bien comer" program and then compare and contrast the two sets of recommendations.
